Welcome to my online portfolio
I am a painter and writer, based in Dorset since 2011.
Since moving to live by the coast, I have moved from doing mostly acrylic studio work, to working en plein air, using oils and some watercolour. My work is figurative and fairly traditional, but within this discipline, I continually look for ways to challenge myself and improve my skills. I have recently begun a series of lino-prints, illustrating the British coast.
I am a member of Dorset Visual Arts and Bournemouth Southern Contemporaries. I have been a reviewer and have had stories featured in several publications, including A Woman's Guide to Saving The World, and The Fresher Anthology of 2016.
I am currently working on a collection of short fiction based on the sea and the coasts of the UK. One story, Shannon, has been published in October 2020 by Nightjar Press - look out for the complete collection in 2021!
